About Psychotherapy

Taking the first step toward getting help can be hard. Many people try a number of other ways to rid themselves of troubling symptoms or to solve problems before looking for a therapist.

I practice psychodynamic therapy, which is based on the fact that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by some factors which people are unaware of. This type of therapy uncovers these factors and allows this new awareness, in the context of the relationship with the therapist, to lead to a new kind of life experience. It is particularly useful for the feeling of being "stuck" and unable to change, in spite of the desire to do so.

My work is individually tailored to meet your unique needs.
